Yoga
Most of our classes are simply listed as “Yoga” on the schedule. Our teachers lead custom designed, breath-based classes that are suitable for all levels of experience. Many of our yoga class styles could be described as therapeutic Vinyasa. Vinyasa means “Breath synchronized movement.” In class, we will use flowing sequences to warm the body, giving ourselves the ability to reach new levels of strength, power, flexibility and peace in our poses and practice. The strength of Vinyasa is in its diversity. There is no set series that teachers must follow, so there is room for the individual personality and skill of each teacher to meet the students right where they are at. Ditch the workOUT and experience a workIN, followed by deep relaxation.

Yin Yoga
Yin yoga is a cooling and meditative practice of floor based, long-held postures, designed to compliment the more warming/Yang or Vinyasa style yoga practice. We hold each posture for 3 – 5 minute intervals and relax the muscles. This assists the body in becoming more flexible and energizing the organ meridians. Suitable for all levels of students, this Deep Stretch Class (Yin) is a perfect complement to the dynamic styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and releasing of our muscles. It will generally target the “issues within the tissues” around the hips, pelvis, and spine while providing deep energetic balancing.
